Techventure 2013 app for iPhone and iPad

Techventure is an established platform for showcasing technology innovation and enterprise in the region. The event offers an opportunity for start-ups to seek investments from venture capitalists, corporate ventures, private equity and angel investors. It is also a platform to network, exchange ideas and develop business plans.

The conference attracts leading members of the venture capital, private equity and angel investor community, industry leaders and experienced incubation managers each year. These experience entrepeneurs offer funding and business insights, which are crucial in helping emerging entrepreneurs to incubate their ideas, and turn their dreams into reality.

The 2013 event is driven by the National Research Foundation, Prime Minister’s Office, Singapore, in collaboration with the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Exploit Technologies Pte Ltd (ETPL) and SPRING Singapore (SPRING).

Techventure seeks to:
Enable all the players in our innovation eco-system to gather annually in a major event to interact with the global high tech entrepreneurial community;
Profile Singapore and regional technology start-ups to the investment community & captains of industry.

Background:
Techventure was launched by the National Science & Technology Board* in 1996 to promote entrepreneurship, in particular technopreneurship. As the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Singapore and Asia developed over the years, Techventure evolved into a platform where investors in the venture capital and private equity segment gathered to interact with entrepreneurs and innovators to explore collaboration.
The conference has grown to become one of Asia’s premier platforms for connecting financiers with budding innovators, distinguishing it from other investment and VC events in the region. Techventure is graced by inspiring speakers who are recognised as some of the world’s most influential investors.
